Privacy Statement

Names, email addresses, affiliations, manuscript files, and other personal information entered into the SJS website are used for submission handling, peer review, editorial communication, publication, and journal administration. Unpublished manuscript information is restricted to people with an authorized role in that process.

Published author names, affiliations, contribution information, and correspondence details form part of the scholarly record. Authors must obtain appropriate permission before including another person’s personal or identifiable information. Case material and patient records require particular care and must follow the journal’s ethics and consent requirements.

Personal information is not made available for unrelated purposes or sold for marketing. Limited disclosure may be necessary for service provision, investigation of publication-integrity concerns, or compliance with applicable obligations. Journal and manuscript records are retained as needed for editorial administration and preservation of the publication record.

For questions about privacy, access, or correction of personal information, contact sriwijayajournalsurgery@gmail.com. Requests affecting the published scholarly record are assessed under the journal’s corrections policy.
