Sriwijaya Journal of Surgery welcomes original research articles, case reports and case series, narrative reviews, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses in surgery and related clinical sciences.

Submit by Email
Send your manuscript and supporting files to sriwijayajournalsurgery@gmail.com. Please include the article type, manuscript title, and corresponding-author details in your email.
Before You Submit
- Read the Author Guidelines and Journal Policies and confirm that the manuscript is within the journal’s scope.
- Confirm that the work is original, is not under consideration elsewhere, and has been approved for submission by all authors.
- Prepare a separate title page and an anonymized manuscript for double-blind peer review.
- Include applicable ethics approval, consent, author contributions, funding, competing interests, data availability, and AI-use declarations.
- Check references, tables, figures, supplementary files, and relevant reporting checklists.
Files for Email Submission
- Cover letter: state the article type, manuscript title, corresponding author, and confirmation of all authors’ approval.
- Title page: provide author names, affiliations, email addresses, and ORCID identifiers where available.
- Anonymized manuscript: attach an editable Word or compatible file without author-identifying information or identifying file properties.
- Supporting files: attach figures, tables, supplementary material, and required reporting checklists as applicable.
Suggested subject line: SJS Submission — Article Type — Short Title.
After Submission
The editorial office will acknowledge receipt and advise the corresponding author about any missing files and the next steps. Retain this acknowledgement for future correspondence.
Submissions follow editorial screening, double-blind review by at least three independent reviewers, ethics, and publication requirements. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Revisions should include a point-by-point response to editorial and reviewer comments.
