Sources of revenue

  • Article Processing Charge. IDR 1,500,000 or USD 100 per accepted article, payable after acceptance. There is no fee to submit, and authors should not pay before acceptance. The charge supports the publication process; it does not purchase acceptance or influence peer review. Full terms: Article Processing Charges.

  • No advertising and no industry sponsorship. SJS does not sell advertising space, publish sponsored articles or supplements, or accept payment from a manufacturer for editorial content or favourable treatment.
  • No reader charges. No subscription, membership, pay-per-view, or reprint charge; all content is free to read on publication.
  • No payment for speed or outcome. No paid fast-track, no paid priority review, and no Letter of Acceptance before a manuscript is genuinely accepted.

Authors receive payment instructions only from the editorial office named below. Any request for payment from another address, or any offer of guaranteed or accelerated publication in the journal’s name, is illegitimate and should be reported to sriwijayajournalsurgery@gmail.com.
